D3: Take Interim Containment Actions

Determine, define, and implement containment actions to isolate the issue.

D4: Analyze the Root Cause

D5: Formulate and Select Corrective Actions

Confirm that the selected corrective action will resolve the issue that originally occurred.

D6: Implement and Validate Corrective Actions

D7: Identify and Implement Preventative Actions

It’s easy to solve a problem that everyone sees, but it’s hard to solve a problem that almost no one sees.

– TONY FADELL
